Designed for students who have completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in criminal justice or a related field, this program allows you to build on the practical knowledge gained through community college coursework. You will expand that foundation through the study of criminology, criminal justice policy, research, and the social factors that influence crime and justice.
The program develops the critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, research, and decision-making skills needed to address complex issues within the criminal justice system. Graduates are prepared to pursue career advancement and leadership opportunities in law enforcement, corrections, courts, investigations, security, government agencies, and community-based organizations.
The degree also provides a strong academic foundation for graduate or professional study in criminal justice, criminology, law, public administration, public policy, and related fields.
