Mississippi State University is asking all current online students to complete a one-time identity verification through Stripe Identity by August 7, 2026.
Completing this process by the deadline will help prevent interruptions to your university account and delays in receiving financial aid. Financial aid funds cannot be disbursed until your identity verification is complete.
As part of this process, an identity verification hold has been placed on your MSU account and will remain until the verification process is successfully completed. Once your verification is complete, please allow one to two hours for the hold to be removed.
This verification helps protect your student account and supports the security and integrity of university records.
How to Complete Verification
- Sign in to myState.
- Select Banner from the Apps & Services menu.
- Select the Students tab.
- Under the Registration section, choose View Your Holds.
- On the next screen, select the Verify Identity link to begin the identity verification process.
