When are online education courses/programs offered?
Online courses and programs follow the same academic year that on-campus courses do. Fall, spring and summer classes are offered. Check out the Academic Calendar.
Will my diploma indicate that I took my courses online?
No, your diploma will read “Mississippi State University” and is the same as the diploma received by an on-campus student.
How much does an online master’s course cost at MS State?
All online students receive the applicable in-state tuition rate for their classes! Distance fees may apply and are nonrefundable. Current tuition and fees are under the Distance Education tab at the Office of the Controller and Treasurer. Textbooks and course materials are not included in tuition costs.
Are MS State Online degrees accredited?
Mississippi State University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, specialist, and doctoral degrees. Most graduate programs can be completed in 2 years when taking a 6 hour couse load per semester – Spring, Summer, and Fall.
